Combining direct ground cooling with ground-source heat pumps and district heating: Borehole sizing and land area requirements

چکیده

This article studies the potential combination of direct ground cooling (DGC) with district heating (DH) and source heat pumps (GSHP) to compare required borehole depths needed drilling areas. It also examines two different sizing approaches optimize investment costs The results show that in most cases are shorter for DGC DH than GSHP combination. is demonstrated optimal range outlet temperatures could be chosen based on trade-off between installation terminal units’ costs.
